Document Description
The Department of transportation (CALTRANS) proposes to overlay a damaged section of State Route 99 (SR 99) at post mile 7.90 in Merced County. All work will be within Caltrans right of way. No new right of way will be acquired. The scope of work will include a two inch depth saw-cut and grind of the damaged area and then overlay the area with polyester concrete. The purpose of this emergency contract is to immediately restore the roadway's integrity and traffic safety at this location on SR 99. The need for this project is to prevent or mitigate the loss or impairment of life, property, or essential public services.
