Document Description
The project is limited to the stabilization of 100 feet of river bank. A footing of 3- to 4-foot diameterboulders will be placed along the shelf at the toe of the upper streambank along the length of the project, extending six to ten feet up the bank. On top of this rock a series of unachored root wads will be stacked six to ten feet high to provide additional armoring during high flows. The rock and root wads will be planned with locally collected native vegetation. No work will occur in the wetted channel.
