Document Description
The purpose of this Agreement is to provide Electric Program Investment Charge (EPIC) cost share funding for the Contractor's federally-funded project, which received an award under federal funding opportunity announcement, DE-FOA-0001285, UC-China Clean Energy Research Center: Energy and Water. The purpose of the project is to fund research that will reduce the stress on current water infrastructure and supply. This will include development of high water recovery desalination processes for non-traditional waters; characterizing the potential for non-traditional water use in California; development of recycled water scenarios for electricity generation; and improving the characterization of California's snowpack.
