Document Description
The project will improve access to persons with disabilities in the Sacramento State Garage and improve safety for State employees and the public. The accessibility upgrade includes installation of items such as van parking and accessible spaces, signs, ramps, landings, railings, striped path of travel, tactile identification signs, and door lever hardware. The project includes typical miscellaneous small repairs and install of code conforming items to bring the Sacramento State Garage into compliance with California Building Code Standards such as guardrails, natural gas supply pipe seismic shut-off valves, eye wash fixture, fire escape ladder, electrical outlets with ground faults, fire rated doors, grout and seal cracks, and emergency telephones.
