- Crows Landing CSD provides water service to its customers with water supplied from two wells, identified as Well No. 4 and Well No. 5. Well No. 5 has been offline due to exceeding the MCL for hexavalent chromium (Chrome 6) established by Title 22 Code of Regulations. This project is a project report report and feasibility study for identifying the necessary improvements to correct Chrome 6 levels currently found in Well No. 5 and bring the well back online. Improvement alterntives to be evaluated will include options at the existing site as well as a new well site. The planning project will include ground-breaking activity in the form of boring samples that will assist in the design of the proposed well improvements.
