Document Description
The modifications to section 20-133 would enable exceptions to cul-de-sac length standards with approval of Butte County Fire Dept/CalFire as generally consistent with Public Resources Code Section 4290 and CA Code of Regulations, Title 14 Natural Resources, Division 1.5 Dept of Forestry, Chp 7 Fire Protection, Subchapter 2 SRA Fire Safe Regulations. The proposed amendment will allow for creation of a parcel, in a residential or agricultural zone that allows a second dwelling, on a cul-de-sac that exceeds the max length to be divided into two lots provided the resulting parcels are restricted to only one dwelling per parcel. This will result in the same practical effect as two dwelling being located on one lot.
