Document Description
The proposed ordinance will provide a consistent and comprehensive regulatory scheme for the development and operation of wireless communications facilities within the coastal zone; consistent with applicable local, state and federal regulations. The proposed ordinance will amend provisions of Division II of Title 20 - Coastal Zoning Code, adding Chp 20.522 to the existing Zoning Code. The ordinance amendment will better define where and how wireless communications facilities may be installed in the unincorporated areas of Mendocino County within the Coastal Zone. The proposed ordinance describes the circumstances in which wireless facilities may be exempt from discretionary review, subject to Coastal Development Permits, and when a Coastal Development Use Permit will be required.
