- CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2017-0198-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Sacramento County. Project is limited to the replacement of the Ione Road bridge over Buckeye Creek. The replacement bridge will be a single span precast, pre-stressed wide-flange girder bridge on seat abutments with 12 inch "H" piles. The replacement will provide two 12-foot lanes with six-foot paved shoulder and barrier rail on both sides for a total width of 40 feet. The scope of work from this project includes bridge demolition, channel slope protection, roadway approach work, bridge construction, installation of metal beam guardrail and bridge railings. The total length of the project is expected to be 500-linear feet, which includes a new 80-foot long bridge with approx. 200 feet of roadway approach work on each side.
