Document Description
The OHMVR Division will award grant funds to the BLM Eagle Lake Field Office for development work at the existing 105-acre Rice Canyon OHV Open Area within the Antelope/Shaffer/Bald Mountain Special Recreation Area. The project is proposed to enhance the connectivity and sustainability of OHV trails; install facilities, barriers, and signs; and grade, gravel, and improve access roads and parking areas. In addition, the project will help to keep OHV riders safe from unregulated target shooting. Finally, the BLM will record, clean up, and cap a historic trash dump site. The capped site will be used for OHVs.
