The proposed 76,590 sf facility will house IID Fleet Services current work areas: machine shop, welding, heavy equipment, auto shop, auto body shop, paint booth and electrical & A/C. The building will also include supervisor offices, storage and equipment rooms; water and oil containment areas, air compressor storage areas, restrooms and showers and an adjacent wash rack equipped with sump, shade area and a sand/grease interceptor. The facility will be a pre-engineered metal building system with a 35 ft eave height, insulated roof and insulated wall panels above cinder block walls. Building improvements also include portal frame bracing, structure for cranes, gutter and downspout support heavy equipment. The building will be equipped with the implements to provide the required services.
