Document Description
The project consists of the reuse by the Cayucos Sanitary District of an existing ocean conveyance pipe for treated effluent disposal. The pipeline is leased from the CA State Lands Commission by Chevron Pipeline Company and this lease will be transferred to the CSD. The outfall project is part of the Cayucos Sustainable Water Project Water Resource Recovery Faility already permitted by the County of San Luis Obispo. The project includes installation of a diffuser apparatus at the ocean end of the existing line, replacement of approx 104 ft of existing pipe in the beach area and approx 100 ft of pipeline trenching in the upland area east of Hwy 1 to connect the existing CSD sewer line to the onshore end of the pipeline.
