The station would accommodate a six member crew, a fire truck and a dive rig. The proposed waterside improvements would include demolition of an existing 7,060 sf relieving platform and construction of an 18,700 sf boat bay with an approximate 13,860 sf covered roof enclosure. Fireboat Station No. 20 is intended to be the base of operations for potential major emergencies occurring north of the Gerald Desmond Bridge, primarily in the Harbor District.
