Document Description
The applicant requests that the City of Palmdale utilize one or more of a number of alternative financing mechanisms authorized by State law to assure the timely extension of infrastructure to the proposed project area. Infrastructure includes, but is not limited to, parking, roads, streets, water, parks, public pavilions, pedestrian areas, sewer and stormwater facilities, and any other project authorized by State law for governing the particular financing mechanism. These mechanisms include, but are not limited to, Enhanced Infrastructure Financing Districts, Mello Roos District, Community Facilities Districts, Parking/Public Improvement Districts, Landscaping and Lighting Assessment District, Utility Authority, other land based secured assessment districts, lease leaseback transaction structures, project specific tax revenue reimbursement as well as other allowed financing mechanisms. Those financing mechanisms utilized by the City are included among the development entitlements requested by the Applicant.
