Document Description
The project is a Major Use Permit to authorize a Charter School in a residential zone. The project consists of the demolition of the existing 6,474 sf church and construction of a new 27,058 sf, two-story charter school for approximately 350 students, initially, with a max enrollment of 500 students within five years. At full capacity the project would employ 20 teachers and six administrative staff. The project would also include a 9,000 sf playground, parking for 53 cars (3 accessible spaces) and landscaping. The project would be served by sewer and imported water from Helix Municipal Water District. Grading is proposed consisting of 6,000 cubic yards of cut, 1,600 cubic yards of fill and 4,400 cubic yards of export. The project includes the following off-site improvements: curb, gutter and sidewalk along Madrid Way and a portion of Agua Dulce Blvd.
