Document Description
Project entails construction of an approx. 480 SF pre-cast concrete building on portions of the Mt. Rubidoux Public Street right-of-way and Loring Park. approx. 3,350 LF of new pipeline and 1,900 LF of replacement pipeline will be installed within portions of the aforementioned public street rights-of-ways. In addition, approx. 113 pressure reducing valves will be installed at individual services to protect customer household piping. Once the new Mission Inn Booster Station has been placed in operation, the existing Mt. Rubidoux and Mary Evans Booster Stations will be abandoned. Project will consolidate three hydraulic pressure zones into one zone to address issues of low water pressure, improve fire flow and system reliability, and provide better operational efficiencies. The project will also improve the water pressure to Loring Park to facilitate irrigation of the park and provide electrical service for future park improvements.
