Document Description
The Nuevo Tank is located on Nuevo Road adjacent to Passage Road in the community of Nuevo in an unincorporated area of Riverside County. The steel tank is 32-feet high and 52-feet in diameter, with a rated capacity of 0.5 million gallons. The facility was constructed in 1955 and is the sole storage tank in the 1698N pressure zone. The Nuevo Tank Structural Rehabilitation Project (Project) will replace all roof rafters, center column and collar plate, remove existing ladder, enlarge the existing access opening to 2'-6" diameter and provide to hatch per EMWD standards. The project would also recoat the underside of the roof plate, rafters, column and 3' of upper shell interior.
