Document Description
The Project includes activation of existing groundwater well #3 and the disconnection of groundwater well #2 and the pressure tank from the Shaffer Elementry school water distribution system. The Project also includes a new well pump, a new chlorine injection system, two new flow meters with connection piping from well #3 to the water distribution system. The Project will install segments of new sewer pipes and reroute other existing sewer pipes to meet off-set requirements. The existing hydropneumatic tank will undergo rehabilitation via replacement of the internal lining and anodes and expansion of the manway.

The Project involves operation, repair, maintenance, minor alteration(s), or replacement or reconstruction of existing structures or facilities that are located at the same site and will have the same purpose and capacity. The Project also involves installation of a new connection pipeline, less than one mile in length, and maintenance, repair, restoration and other utility improvements.
