The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (Metropolitan) has entered into a purchase and sale agreement to purchase 20,369.80 acres of land from Delta Wetlands Properties. The property consists of five areas of lnad in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Bay-Delta and is located in Contra Costa, San Joaquin, Solano counties. In accordance with the agreement, qcquisition of the proerty will preserve the current open space, habitat or historical resources and will allow restoration of natural conditions including plant or animal habitats.
