Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2015-0395-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Mr. Jesse Johnson. The project is limited to one diversion of water by means of a sump well, as well as the maintenance of that diversion structure installed without permit authorization. The seep well is located approximately 15 feet from the low flow channel, well within the boundary of high flows/floodplain, of Browns Creek, a Class I stream that contains anadromous salmonids. The well is approximately 10' deep and is used to pump subsurface flow to two 2500 gallon tanks with float valves designed to fill up to 100 gallons at a time (capacity of sump). Maximum number of fill cycles a day is three, totaling approximately 300 gallons of water diverted a day.
