Document Description
The project consists of replacement of one of the two existing 220-ton chillers supporting the Administration Office Building known as Building P at the California Department of Public Health Richmond Lab. Campus. The Chiller to be replaced is located in the mechanical room on the 4th floor of Building P. The new chiller will be significantly more efficient and will contribute to the goal of achieving a LEED certification for Building P. All associated electrical, mechanical, and piping will be upgraded to match the new chiller. Post installation, the system will be commissioned and the programming of the building management system will also be updated to meet the new chiller operational need.
