Caltrans proposes to install a rock fall mitigation drapery to prevent rocks and debris from falling onto the travelled way. The scope of works includes establishing an anchor system along the uppermost area of the ridge of the rock fall area and placing approximately 92,000 square feet of metal mesh drapery on the slope.
