This is a resource management project which proposes to address the damage caused to oak trees in Cuyamaca Rancho State Park (CRSP) resulting from the effects of infestation by the Gold Spotted Oak Borer. Infested trees pose a hazard to staff and visitors once the trees are dead or dying. Oak trees that are completely dead, have dead limbs, or meet criteria that indicate moderate to heavy infestation will be felled and disposed of.
