Document Description
The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), pursuant to authority granted under Chapter 6.8, Division 20, section 25355.5(a)(1)(C) of the Health and Safety Code (H&SC), approved a Removal Action Workplan (RAW) as submitted by GeoSolve, in March 2016 for the Former Platinum Cleaners Site (FPC Site) and the adjacent Best Western Property. The RAW identifies the construction and operation of a soil vapor extraction as the remedy to address potential human health risks by the contaminants of concern (COC), tetrachlorethene (PCE) and trichloroethene (TCE), in the soil vapor.
