Document Description
The California Department of General Services (DGS) is performing design work consisting of new modular furniture to provide space for new work stations and running voice data/electrical cable from the new/existing modular furniture via free standing power poles, which are built into the modular furniture. The free standing power poles would continue up through the drop ceiling tiles. Power cables would terminate n the existing electrical room located in the hallway and the voice/data cables would terminate in the server room located in the hallway. No new penetrations to the ceilings, floors or walls would occur due to the modifications described. The proposed tenant improvements would provide needed work stations for state employee training needs.
