Document Description
Note: 1 HC The project will repair 210 feet of eroded bank in the habitat restoration area of Decker Island, across Horseshoe Bend from the Threemile Slough Bridge. The project will compare the viability of the "gripper system" from Maverick Solutions to riprap that is traditionally used for erosion repairs in the Delta. The gripper system utilizes interlocked, non-woven geo-textile bags fill with soil and vegetation interspaced among the bags to create a highly resilient erosion control wall while providing vegetation along the channel's edge.
