Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2017-0476-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Caltrans as represented by Karen Holmes. The project is limited to the construction of a 770 linear foot retaining wall that will occur 10 feet from the existing edge of pavement along SR-17 just before the onramp to southbound SR-1. Approx. 60 linear feet of the retaining wall will encroach into the riparian zone along the unnamed tributary to Carbonera Creek. An existing 24 inch corrugated metal pipe (CMP) system that conveys water into the unnamed tributary shall be replaced with a 17.3 foot long, 24-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP). Equipment to be employed shall include asphalt paver, backhoe, bobcat, bulldozer, loader, compressor, concrete pump, crane, dump truck, demolition equipment, excavator, flatbed truck, front-end loader, haul truck, paint truck, pile driver, drill rig, pump truck, redi-mix truck, roller compactor and other similar equipment as well as personnel on foot using hand-tools.
