Document Description
The District's Laurel WTP Test Well Project involves drilling a Test Well (260-feet in depth, with a 12-inch diameter borehole and 6-inch diameter PVC well casing) at its Laurel Water Treatment Site, located at the end of Laurel Avenue in Stinson Beach (no street address exists for the site). The Laurel WTP Test Well will be drilled to provide information on groundwater conditions, and to evaluate the production of capacity of the Test Well, for the purpose of potentially converting the Test Well into a production well, should the groundwater conditions be favorable. Based on information regarding the production capacity of existing wells in the vicinity of the proposed Test Well, it is anticipated that the well may produce up to 25 gallons per minute.
