Document Description
Star Concrete proposes to construct batch plant that would produce approx. 1,600 tons of concrete/day with a maximum daily capacity of 2,000 tons/day. The proposed facility would include the following structures: raw material delivery pit, radial stacker, conveyors, aggregate hoppers, batch plant control building, and the actual batch plant. The batch plant would be the tallest proposed structure at approx. 70 feet tall. Other facilities to be constructed include storage silos for slag, cement, and fly ash; two 15,000-gallon tanks for processing water; clarifier for water re-use; approx. 19 standard automobile parking spaces; and approx. 10 parking spaces for mixer trucks. Access to the project site would be provided via an existing driveway on Frontage Road.
