Project involves issuance of permits and construction of facilities needed for East Bay MUD (EBMUD) to supply the County's DREAM project with up to 1,000 acre feet of surface water to be applied to approx. 350 acres of farmland in lieu of groundwater extraction. In exchange, EBMUD would receive up to 500 AF of groundwater extracted from an existing well for export to EBMUD customers. The project would involve the improvement of certain existing North San Joaquin Water Conservation District irrigation water distribution facilities.
