California State University San Marcos Extended Learning Building

The proposed project would construct a new EL Building on SUSM campus to support the growing needs of the EL Department by providing new instructional space for EL program courses, as well as co-locating other EL units to develop a more cohesive department. The new building would have a footprint of approximately 20,000 sf, include approximately 52,300 sf of useable space, and be three stories (55 ft) in height. The new structure is planned to include offices, meeting/conference rooms, classrooms and lecture halls, computer labs, science labs, research space, and lab storage rooms. In the long term (3-5 years), the proposed project would expand the EL Department and is anticipated to serve up to approximately 1,655 full time equivalent students (FTES).
