Document Description
SWRCB is a responsible agency for this project. The SWRCB's Safe Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Program is providing funds for the project. The Pleasant Valley Joint Union Elementary School District proposes the addition of a mechanical treatment facility for the removal of arsenic, construction of a new well, decommissioning of an old well, and additional piping for distribution. No increase in school water use will result from the project. Work proposed on this project will occur within the existing footprint of the facility (school site) and no additional disturbance is anticipated. A new storage tank was installed as part of the pilot test for this project, and will be used to hold the treated water.
