The purpose of this project is to provide a consistent and safe source of water for many years to come. No increase in historic school water use will result from the project. The proposed project includes adding a new storage tank to separate the landscape irrigation from the domestic system, a mechanical treatment facility for the removal of arsenic, construction of a new well and additional piping for distribution. Work proposed on this project will occur within the existing footprint of the facility (school site) and no additional disturbance is anticipated.
