The proposed Olive View-UCLA Medical Center Campus Master Plan Project would guide future development of the campus and the delivery of health care services and health related community programs. For the purposes of the EIR, two tiers of development will be analyzed. Tier 1 entails near-term projects constructed before 2035, including an Ambulatory Care Center, research and development buildings, a Community Center, improvements to the existing hospital, appurtenant parking facilities, and other medical center campus improvements that would be located predominantly in the eastern third of the current campus. Tier II development would include a new inpatient hospital, support services building, mental health outpatient care facility, long-term care and recuperative housing, retail space, and other improvements.
