- Document Description
- The proposed project will serve as the long-range vision and land use strategy plan for guiding development within the unincorporated Community of Planada in Merced County. The CPU retains many of the land use designations and policies of the adopted 2003 Planada Community Plan. The primary change to land use would be to redesignate 15.6 acres of Medium Density Residential to Low Density Residential. In addition to land use, the Community Plan Update addresses circulation, open space and conservation, noise, and public services. In addition, a Community Character and Design Guidelines chapter is included. The proposed Community Plan Update does not include any specific development projects.
