Document Description
Santa Barbara County proposes to construct a public pedestrian at-grade rail crossing across the UPRR corridor to Santa Claus Lane beach. Fencing associated with the crossing is also proposed. The rail crossing would create a single legal point of entry to the beach, eliminating approx. 15 existing informal crossings. The project would improve public safety and access to the beach.
