Document Description
The Project consists of the installation of a fish screen on an existing river pump station that has been operating for 50 years. There will be no change in the diversion rate or pump capacity associated with this diversion. The screen will be fabricated off-site and installed with a crane. Screen installation will require a small excavation at the intake location to allow for the installation of the plenum below the existing pipes. Excavation will be done with a long-reach excavator staged on the bank in an existing equipment staging area. Four steel piles (6'x8" diameter) will be driven 25' into the channel bed with a vibratory hamer.
