Document Description
This project consists of replacing the existing 200 ton water chillers (Chiller #1 and #2) located on the first floor of the building near the loading dock. The existing chilled water pumps 20hp variable frequency drives (VFD) will be replaced with new VFD's. The existing roof mount cooling towers (Towers #1 and #2) will be replaced with a new 275 forced draft cooling towers and existing roof mounted computer room cooling tower (Tower #3) will be replaced with a new 40 ton forced draft cooling tower. Cooling Tower #3 serves the computer room coolers. Permanent crossover connections for the computer room coolers' condenser water piping will be installed to allow the computer room coolers to use cooling Tower #1 for backup operation. The existing electrical services (conduit, conductors disconnects), will be replaced with new equipment.
