Document Description
This project will replace an old puncheon (Low bridge) with one built to current trail standards. Without the puncheon, trail users are creating multiple paths to cross a wet area. Construction of the new puncheon will require replacing the old mudsills that still exist but do not meet current construction standards. The ground will be leveled where the mudsill will be secured with spikes. There should be no other ground disturbance.

No potential for significant impact to the environment is anticipated in compliance with CEQA §15300.2. If the project is implemented as indicated within the project description including comments provided by CDPR specialists, then it is exempt under CEQA §15301 - Existing Facilities and §15304 - Minor alterations to land. The project consists of the minor public alterations in the condition of land and vegetation which do not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees (Class 4).
