Document Description
The existing three-span, 56-foot long by 17.7 foot wide timber bridge over South Fork Bear Creek on Inwood Road would be replaced with a new single-span, 73-foot long by 23.54 foot wide, cast in place, concrete box girder bridge. The proposed alignment of the approach roadway to the west of the new bridge would remain the same as the existing alignment. The proposed alignment east of the bridge would be slightly different than the existing alignment to bring the roadway up to current design standards. The vertical profile at the bridge would be raised approx. 4 feet. The purpose of the project is to provide a safe stream crossing for the traveling public by replacing the structurally deficient bridge. The project site is identified as a hazardous waste facility, hazardous waste property, or hazardous waste disposal site.
