Document Description
The Project includes 17,600 linear feet of new 11-foot diameter gravity pipeline that will be placed within a 16-foot outer diameter, concrete, segmental lined tunnel. The new pipeline will connect the existing 48-inch force main on Inner Bair Island to the wastewater treatment plant. The new pipeline will replace the existing 48-inch and 54-inch diameter reinforced concrete pipe force mains that are in poor condition. The Project includes two 40-ft deep shafts at the Bair Island location and the San Carlos Pump Station site with pipeline installed to connect these points to the new 11-foot diameter gravity pipeline.
