Construct two solar photovoltaic (PV) electrical generating facilities on properties owned by RPU within the City of San Bernardino. The Scheuer site proposes 18.5 acres of solar PV panels that would be capable of generating up to 3.0 megawatts (MW) of electricity. The Garner site proposes 5.2 acres of solar PV panels and would be capable of generating up to 0.75 MW of electricity. The third party vendor expects to start construction in Spring 2016, with construction duration lasting approx. 3 and a half months (12-16 weeks).
