Document Description
The project is limited to removal of invasive Arundo from the stream bed, remolval of invasive TRee of Heaven from the stream bank and bed, and manaual trimming of Himalayan Blackberries within the stream channel. All work will be done by hand using hand tools and hand-operated chainsaws. All cut vegetation will be removed from the creek and placed in an upland area of the property where it will be burned under an agricultural burn permit.

His project covers less than 500 linear feet of stream channel for a total footprint of less than 0.1 acres. The vegetation being removed is identified as invasive and its removal will help to minimize flooding risks with subsequent property damage and will open the area back up to re-colonization by native species thereby enhancing riparian habitat.
