Document Description
Caltrans will grind in sinusoidal rumble strip on the edge of travel-way pavement and near centerline, to address and reduce the number and severity of departure collisions from travelers drifting off the roadway. Sinusoidal mumble strips will alert drivers before they drift too far off the travel way.
