Document Description
The purpose of this Agreement is to fund the development of an advanced hybrid battery-fuel cell energy storage system to mitigate intermittent renewables and meet electric power peak demand when is most needed. Funding will be used to provide proof of concept, planning, interconnection, and technology scale-up to establish readiness for grid-scale integration and deployment in California.

The design, planning, and interconnection of the advanced hybrid battery fuel cell energy storage will be executed in a laboratory environment with existing infrastructure, and equipment, and will not require any site construction activities and will have no direct impact on the site. The energy storage system will only be tested at both sites; therefore, there will not be any permanent installations at either site.
