Document Description
The Nevada City swimming pool was last renovated in the 1980's and currently has cracks causing leaks. The shell has deteriorated to such a degree that general maintenance procedures are no longer effective. The City is seeking grant funding to help repair and re-construct the pool shell. Improvements benefit the public.

The project proposal includes repair work of an existing public pool involving: 1) interior paint removal, 2) plastering pool surface, 3) removing & reconstructing cracked shell & repairing less degraded area with epoxy, 4) and the removal of six expansion joints in pool floor. The pool will not be enlarged and no expansion of use is proposed.
