Document Description
The SUP project would be a 7,200 gross square-foot (GSF), 'L'-shaped building in an exisitng surface parking lot (P604) in the West Campus School of Medicine (SOM). The SUP building would contain space for four (4) 2,000kW diesel generators and a switchgear/equipment room. The project would also include an outdoor above ground diesel fuel tank located on the south side of the site. The fuel tanks would be reviewed by UCSD Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) prior to construction to ensure the design meets regulatory requirement criteria for diesel fuel tanks.
