Document Description
Caltrans will repair existing corrugated metal pipe (CMP) under SR 49. Additional excavation within the previously disturbed slope will occur and the 20-foot CMP installed to stabilize the slope will be removed to access the deteriorated CMP. After the pipe is repaired the 20-foot CMP will be installed at the same locaTion and the excavated trench will be backfilled. Slopes will be regraded to proper slope ratios to prevent further erosion. Approximately 3 yards of rock slope protection will be placed within the excavated channel. No additional vegetation will be impacted as a part of this project.
