Document Description
The proposed project is to retrofit Connector Pipe Screens (CPS) to approximately 505 Catch Basins in the City that are tributary to the Santa Monica Bay. The CPA units are stainless steel screens (with 5mm openings and an overflow feature) permanently installed inside the existing basins that trap gross pollutants (trash, vegetative debrids, mud, etc.) and prevent further passage into the storm drain system. The project will imporve water quality through pollution prevention and source control, as well as protect public health through the reduction of trash and debris in the Santa Monica Bay.
