Document Description
The Project is limited to the replacement of the existing, damaged Lone Pine Creek flume with a six-foot stainless steel Parshall flume. The Project will include diversion of Lone Pine Creek around the Project area using coffer dams and a bypass pipe, bank armoring upstream and downstream of the flume to provide additional bank stability, and the removal of three black cottonwood trees (Populus trichocarpa) with a diameter-at-breastheight between three inches and six inches. Access to work areas will occur along the exising roadway, and all equipment staging and maintenance areas will be located on existing paved areas. No Project activities will occur during the nesting bird season (Mrch 15- September 15).
