Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2016-0160-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District.
Site #1: The existing 24-foot long bridge will be replaced with a 50 foot long bridge and be placed at a higher elevation to reduce the potential for bridge failure during storm events (above 100 year flood elevation). A 120 foot long segment of existing trail will be rerouted to meet the new bridge elevation. Site #2: This site currently does not have a bridge at the trail crossing. A 50 foot long bridge will be constructed to be located above the 100 year flood elevation. The existing trail (20 feet on the east side of the bridge and 60 ft. on the west side of the bridge) will be re-routed to match the grade of the new bridge.
